Today, on 6/21, Forex/CFD broker IC Markets has put BBBY as "Only Position Closing is allowed"

Here is the proof:
Screenshot of 6/21, shows that a small amount of BBBY buy using market orders failed because of \"Only position closing is allowed\". Note that the timestamps are in local time, the attempted buy orders were done during market hours. In the screenshot I blocked out the account number from my source.

In the past, my source has shared me reliable information before, so I trust my source. But I figured that checking and verifying could never hurt. That's why I reached out to IC Markets myself, using their customer service widget on the website. At first you get a bot, but after 3-4 questions you can actually talk with a real person. Here are the screenshots of my chat with the customer representative:

So the customer representative is actually saying that there was NO PCO on BBBY. Neither this morning or at the moment.

So I reached out back to my source, sharing the screenshots I've shared here. Most important: I blocked out the customer rep's name.
But according to my source, he STILL CAN'T OPEN A POSITION, due to "Only Position Close"
I asked him to reach out to IC Markets himself to inquire on why he was getting this notification.

Note: When I shared the screenshot with my source, I had already blocked out the name of the customer rep. When I received the screenshots from him, I saw the name. It was the SAME NAME as the customer rep I spoke with. This is why I have no doubts on the validity of the screenshots received.

Speculation part:
CFD brokers are basically betting against their own customers. The fact that they have BBBY on PCO, most likely means that they have high confidence in BBBY running.
Fun fact: They PCO'ed the popular gaming retail chain on 5/19/22, and that stock ran nearly 30% six calendar days later... Probably nothing...

AITA for telling one of my students that he’s in no position to tell his classmate to go back to his special Ed class when he is the only one failing both math and science?

I’m a 5th grade teacher with a classroom of about 35 kids. We recently had a student who transferred from a special education class that was meant for severely disabled students. To maintain his privacy, I’m going to call him Tony. Tony is extremely smart, but very socially inept. So he doesn’t have any friends in class, and he’s not exactly well liked.
We were doing a history lecture and for whatever reason, one of the students brought up Muhammad Ali, completely irrelevant to the class. Tony stated that Muhammad Ali isn’t black. Before I had a chance to correct him, the resident class bully, named Kevin, blurted out an extremely inappropriate comment along the lines of.
“Muhammad Ali isn’t black? Are you stupid? Go back to that ( R Slur ) class with those (r slur) kids. “
(Obviously he said the full R word out loud. I call it the R slur because my kid is autistic and that word is very offensive to both of us. )
I blurted out to Kevin that he’s in no position to say that to him when he’s the only kid in the class failing math and science.
Needless to say the rest of the class laughed harder at him than at the incorrect statement Tony made about Ali.
The next day, I was called to the office with the principal and the Kevin’s parents saying that my comment to him was uncalled for and demanding that I apologize. I had to explain to them as I have reported the issue several times that Kevin was bullying Tony and belittling him in front of the class and had several conversations with him about it.
I’m beginning to have second thoughts and I don’t know if what I said what really uncalled for.

Positive update nobody asked for: the grass is definitely greener on the other side

First of all I’d like to thank the community for the amazing support I received in the last few years of my journey.
I (F29) was married to my ex (M30-something) for 8 years. Cheated when I was pregnant with our second child in 2017 and I forgave him. Did therapy. Thought he’d change. Caught him having an affair again in 2021 and left him.
I was extremely dependent on him for everything. He controlled our finances, my clothing, our routine, EVERYTHING. Leaving him at first was absolutely terrifying as he had “taken care of everything” for so long I truly did not know how to navigate the world. I married him quite young at 20 and I was extremely naive and had never been on my own so I struggled a lot at the beginning.
Thankfully, when I left I already had a career (doesn’t pay much). Still, he made 75% of our family income so I was terrified of being able to afford an attorney, but I did it. I saved money and hired a somewhat affordable local attorney who guided me through the divorce. I was able to obtain primary custody.
Divorce finalized in May 2022. I lived with my mom from Oct 2021 until October 2022.
I distinctly remember him telling me when I left that I’d never be able to succeed without him, that I’d never be able to afford an apartment for me and the kids, that everything I was, was thanks to him.
That was my driving motivation to bust my ass this year to make all my dreams happen on my own. I took extra jobs, sold my beloved truck, saved money like hell.
Well, I am so so happy to say it’s true, YOU can definitely make it on your own. As a single dad. As a single mom. Your situation seems bleak right now but YOU can make it.
I’m pleased to say I closed on my home in October. A beautiful 1400 square foot home on a .3 acre lot. Amazing neighborhood. The mortgage eats almost half of my monthly income but I don’t care. Im happy. On my own. I fucking did it. ON MY OWN.
I’m going to therapy every Saturday and I have a good routine with my sons. We get to come home everyday and eat whatever we want and wear whatever we want and be loud and lazy. I’m even seeing a guy and I don’t feel insecure.
I’m loving my life right now. I’m so so happy I decided to NOT forgive again. The hard work and struggle was completely worth it. I’m not sure how my life will develop in the next few years but I am proud to say it will happen on my terms and I SURVIVED INFIDELITY! 🥰
P.s he didn’t call CPS on me because I called his bluff and told him it was a crime to make a malicious call. He backed off. Still being a pain in the ass but that’s another story.
